Youth Rally and Mass 4 Life

What is the Youth Rally and Mass for Life?

What is the Youth Rally and Mass for Life?

The Youth Rally and Mass for Life, traditionally held at the Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C., occurs in conjunction with the annual National March for Life held on or near the anniversary of the 1973 Roe V. Wade court decision, which made abortion legal in this country. The rally strives to encourage youth participating in the March for Life in their witness as disciples of Christ and promoters of the Gospel of Life. It is the largest annual archdiocesan event, which has grown into a national and even international event with pilgrims traveling from as far away as the U.S. Virgin Islands and Australia.

This year, the Youth Rally and Mass for Life will be held virtually on January 29, 2021. If your school or youth group is unable to travel to the in-person March for Life, we encourage you to attend the Virtual Youth Rally on the same morning. We will offer live streaming on multiple platforms, beginning at 8:30 AM on Friday, January 29. Mass will begin at 10:00 AM, and will transition into live coverage of the March for Life on EWTN.

Join us in prayer that we as a nation may stop wandering in the wilderness of the culture of death and enter into “life in abundance” (John 10:10) through our faith in Jesus Christ and our proclamation of the Gospel of Life.
